Mayco Foundations is a ready-to-use glaze for earthenware, fired at 999–1020 °C, and does not require a clear glaze. The glaze is non-running and available in a wide range of colors. Foundations can be combined and mixed with all Mayco earthenware glazes. Most colors are glossy, with selected matte (FN-301–FN-306) and transparent glazes (FN-201–FN-225) available. Testing on a sample piece is recommended. The glaze is non-toxic.
