Description

The MDF discs (1.9 cm) from GR Pottery Forms are used to place rolled-out clay on them and thus shape even, functional objects. These discs for making decorations are used as a stencil to create decorative rims on plates. You can use any round form with the rim decorations as long as the form is not larger than the rim decoration. The set includes 4 molds with rounded, soft edges for making plates. The discs can be secured to the potter’s wheel. Sizes: RD2 plates in 16.5 and 20 cm; plates in 20 and 24 cm; two wooden sticks for joining the plates—see image.

Information

All round molds are pre-drilled for use with or without the WA2.

The clay should be left on the molds until it is firm, leather-hard.

Each OG mold has a rim with a 45-degree angle and a depth of 1.9 cm.

Each RD2 mold has a gently rounded edge, with a 5 cm distance from the bottom to the edge and a depth of 1.9 cm.

Please note: THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THESE ITEMS WILL FIT TOGETHER PERFECTLY, AND THEY MAY CREATE LINES IN THE CLAY ON THE INSIDE.
