Description
Caribbean is a glossy glaze that can create magical marbling effects and is ideal for use on its own or mixed with other Studio Plus glazes to create unique colors. Intended for use at temperatures between cone 05/06 (1000°C–1040°C). 473 ml.
Information
Add an inviting tropical feel to any work with the blue waters delivered by this Caribbean Cone 06/05 glaze. Best when used on textured surfaces, Caribbean is friendly in application and can be layered with other Studio Plus Glazes when fired at low-fire temperatures. This color offers translucent coverage with 1–2 coats and is fully opaque with 3 average coats.
Cone 06 Results: Glossy, light aqua with soft white mottling
Cone 6 Results: Not recommended for mid-fire temperatures
Recommended Layers: 1–2 average coats for translucency, 3 coats for an opaque finish
Notes: Mottling presents on flat surfaces but is much more pronounced on areas with texture.
