Description

The Versa 5 series from Laguna Glazes is a stoneware glaze suitable for cone 5–6 (1220–1240°C). Apply 2–4 layers with a soft brush to bisque-fired ceramics, or combine with other glazes. The glaze is non-flowing and maintains its structure.

Information

Versa 5 is fantastic for creating unlimited color combinations. Each glaze can be mixed and layered to achieve shades far beyond the 17 standard colors. Additionally, MS-300 Clear can be mixed with any opaque glaze to create a transparent, watercolor-like effect.

Firing Schedule for Cone 5/6 (1220–1240°C)

• Segment 1: 20°C per hour up to 93°C
• Segment 2: 38°C per hour up to 427°C
• Segment 3: 66°C per hour up to 704°C
• Segment 4: 93°C per hour up to Cone 5 = 1210°C or 1240°C
