Description

The flux glazes from Speedball are designed to complement the current 36 Mid-Fire glazes to create enhanced mottling and reduction-like effects when used at Cone 5/6 oxidation (1200°C - 1230°C). Eye-catching results are possible when used individually but we recommend artists layer these glazes with other colors for even more unique variation and dimensionality. Fluxes are fluid by themselves and in combination with other glazes. Test firing is recommended. 473 ml. Ready mixed. 

Information

Apply 2-4 layers on the topp of the ceramic piece or inside a bowl to give it room to flow downwards. Examples on the homepage are fired at cone 5 (1210°C).
