Stoneware Clear glaze
Description
Mayco stoneware glazes are best applied with a soft fan brush to bisque-fired ware. Fire to between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Many colors also perform very well at higher temperatures, see images under the Information tab. Test before applying to product. Ready-mixed.
Information
Cone 6 oxidation (1230°C): Clear glaze adds a brilliantly clear, smooth gloss finish to your work. Perfect for stoneware and porcelain bodies, one to two to coats is all that is needed.
Cone 10 reduction (1280°C): No Change.

TIP: Heavy application may increase the incidence of crazing. Reduce the amount of glaze deposited by loading your brush less heavily or decrease the number of brushing coats applied.
