Description

Fundamentals Set are underglazes from Mayco that should be shaken before use and applied to clay, leather hard, or bisque with a brush. Colors can be mixed with each other or combined with other glazes. They can be fired at 1044°C and 1207°C - 1280°C, with possible color and texture variations at temperatures above 1044°C (see the mid high brochure under DOCUMENTS). The examples are made on white clay and at 1044°C with NTBR clear glaze on top. Set with 12 different colors: UG1, 21, 31, 46, 50, 51, 68, 87, 97, 204, 206 and 208 in 59 ml. Test firing is recommended.

As a clear glaze for earthenware, NT-BR (glossy), S2101 (glossy), C300 (matte) are recommended, and for stoneware SW-004 or NTBR (up to 1240°C) from Mayco. Always test first when using another clear glaze. The glaze becomes food safe when combined with a clear glaze.
