Description

Hunter Green Matte ink from Amaco is an emerald color that is vivid at cone 05, darkens to a deep blue-green at cone 5, and becomes slightly darker and develops a sheen at cone 10. This ink maintains its color well under a clear glaze.

Like an underglaze, this Ink series fires to a matte finish that requires a clear glaze to be considered food-safe. 

Too thick of an application of the ink may result in a glossy finish.

Information

The glaze is thick like a paste and highly pigmented like a printing ink. You take out the amount of glaze you need with a palette knife or similar and put it on a glass plate or plate and then pick it up with a sponge, stamp, stencil brush or printing roller. 

You can sponge the glaze onto your ceramics with stencils, print with silkscreen, stamps etc. See idea sheet under Documents.
