Kilnwash - 460 gr powder

Plattengobe / kilnwash is used to prevent glaze from sticking to kilnshelves and other items during firing. The powder is mixed with water to a cream consistency. Apply 2 thin coats with a brush and let dry. Fire the prepared shelves at 1000°C before using them. If the application is too thick, the plattengobe will flake off after firing. In this case, scrape off all the old plattengobe and start again from scratch. Plattengobe should be refreshed at regular intervals to maintain the protective function.
