Description

Nabertherm’s German-made N 140 E, N 210 E, N 280 E and N 500 E chamber kilns are front-loading kilns particularly well suited for schools, educational facilities and therapy applications. With three-sided heating – from the left, right and bottom – the kilns provide even temperature distribution and are mainly designed for firing between 900 °C and 1300 °C. The wide-opening door allows convenient loading and unloading.

The kilns feature high-quality protected heating elements (N 140 E–N 280 E) or free-radiating heating elements in tubes (N 500 E). The special heating element design, together with the optimum wire thickness and length, provides long service life and even temperature distribution. A semiconductor relay ensures quiet operation, while precise temperature control is provided by rapid switching and a Type S thermocouple.

Multi-layer insulation with refractory bricks and special rear insulation helps reduce energy consumption. The kilns also feature a robust, self-supporting vaulted construction, double-protected door with a wear-resistant seal, adjustable and lockable door, and a robust chassis. The continuously adjustable air inlet and the air outlet in the centre of the door provide good air circulation inside the firing chamber. N 140 E–N 280 E are supplied with a connector for an exhaust pipe with an 80 mm diameter, while the N 500 E features a roof vent.

A stand is included, providing a convenient loading height of 800 mm, or 500 mm for the N 500 E. The kilns also include a base plate for level installation and a durable, environmentally friendly powder-coated chassis. Touchscreen control for easy operation. GS-certified for tested safety and CE-marked. Double-wall casing for lower exterior temperatures is available as an option.
