Nabertherm's N 140 E–N 500 E series consists of front-loaded kilns with three-sided heating from the left, right and bottom. These German-made kilns are particularly well suited for schools, preschools, educational institutions and therapy applications. They are designed for firing at temperatures between 900°C and 1300°C. The front-loading door opens fully for convenient loading and unloading.

The N 140 E–N 280 E models feature built-in, protected heating elements, while the N 500 E has free-radiating heating elements in tubes. The heating elements are designed with an optimal wire thickness and length for a long service life, while their special construction ensures even temperature distribution. Solid-state relays provide quiet operation and rapid switching of the heating elements, while a Type S thermocouple enables precise temperature control.

The kilns feature multi-layer insulation with refractory bricks and special rear insulation for low power consumption. The self-supporting, vaulted ceiling construction is robust and resistant to breakage. The solid, double-protected door has a wear-resistant seal, can be adjusted as needed and locked with a padlock. The robust chassis has a durable, environmentally friendly powder coating.

For good ventilation and air circulation inside the firing chamber, the kilns feature an infinitely adjustable fresh-air inlet and an exhaust outlet in the centre of the door. The N 140 E–N 280 E models are supplied with a connector for an 80 mm diameter exhaust pipe, while the N 500 E has a roof vent.

The kilns are supplied with a base plate for stable, level installation and a stand. With the stand, the loading height is 800 mm (N 500 E: 500 mm). The kiln is operated via a touchscreen.

Nabertherm N 140 E–N 500 E kilns are GS-certified for tested safety and CE-marked. A double-wall casing for lower exterior temperatures is available as an option.
