Description

The NOVA series from Spectrum Glazes consists primarily of raw materials such as kaolin, feldspar, wollastonite, oxides, and more. These are reactive or solid-color glazes for cone 5 (1220°C) and are lead-free and food-safe. 473 ml. Ready-mixed. 

Information

They are applied with a soft fan brush in 2–3 layers to bisque-fired ware. Can be fired between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C–1230°C). Some reactive glazes are more fluid and may run, especially when applied in thick layers. Test firing is recommended. The examples were fired at 1220°C. Many colors perform very well even at higher temperatures; test before applying in production.
