Description

Elements™ and Elements™ Chunkies from Mayco are designed to simulate the aesthetics and movement of stoneware glazes. Elements are fired at cone 06/05 (1000-1040°C). Elements™ are two-color glazes with a main color and a secondary color called float. When Elements™ is applied to detail work, the float color will be visible in the cracks. Application and firing also affect the result of the main color or float. For opaque results: apply three to four coats with a soft fan brush. The shade in the picture shows firing to 1000 °C (cone 06). Can be used on both earthenware and stoneware clay. Information

Cone 06 (1000°C) oxidation: Rose Granite is a glossy, orangish pink glaze that breaks dark pink. It has an orangish brown stain.

Cone 6 (1230°C) oxidation: Color changes to a semi-translucent red/brown that breaks over texture and pools blue. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur.
