Description

The reactive cone 5 (1220°C) glazes from Spectrum Glazes are lead-free and food safe. They are applied with a soft fan brush in 2-3 layers to the bisque. Can be fired between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Examples are fired at 1220°C which is recommanded. Many colors perform very well even at higher temperatures. Should be tested before application on production. 473 ml. Ready-mixed.

For best results when used in combination with other glazes, STG-1173 should be applied between layers or as the final layer (e.g., as dots to create an uneven glaze edge) on the top of the piece or inside bowls/plates.
