Description

Stoneware glazes from Speedball Art come in many different varieties and can be fired at 1210°–1240°C. The glaze is applied with a soft brush in 2–4 coats onto bisque-fired stoneware. By combining different glazes with each other in layered applications, endless variations can be achieved. We recommend performing test firings with different thicknesses, on the desired clay, and with a stoneware firing schedule/temperature before applying in production. The examples on the website are fired on white clay at 1220°C with a medium-slow schedule of about 7–8 hours without holding time. This set contains 12 different glazes of 118 ml each: SBG-2126, 2125, 2110, 2119, 2106, 2128, 2109, 2113, 2123, 2118, 2101, 2104.
