A thermocouple is a temperature sensor available in various designs. Carefully check your existing thermocouple and compare it with the image and measurements on our website before ordering. This is particularly important if the kiln was purchased used or the thermocouple has been replaced previously.

Installation: The thermocouple lead wires from the kiln controller are colour-coded red and yellow. The thermocouple is marked with a red dot. The red wire from the controller must be connected to the side of the thermocouple with the red dot. Incorrect connection may result in inaccurate temperature readings or improper kiln operation.
