Description

Stroke & Coat® glaze is a highly pigmented brushing glaze for greenware or bisque fired ceramics. Apply with a soft natural hair brush in 2-4 layers, depending on the color. Fire at 1000°C. It can also be fired at stoneware temperatures (see the next tab).

Information

The glaze can be used for a water color effect or for a fully opaque result. One layer creates a transparent surface, and additional layers provide a more opaque finish. We recommend at least 3-4 layers for full opacity and complete surface coverage. Fired to a glossy finish without a clear glaze.

Cone 6 (1220°C): Transparent. Streaky. Color lightens.
