Description

Mayco stoneware glazes are best applied with a soft fan brush to bisque-fired ware. Fire to between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Many colors also perform very well at higher temperatures, see images under the Information tab. Test before applying to product. Ready-mixed. 473 ml.

Information

Cone 6 (1230°C) oxidation: Tropical Teal is a glossy, semi-opaque teal glaze with a mottled float that breaks over texture. This glaze is stable.

Cone 10 (1280°C) reduction: Enhanced green undertone. Remains stable.

TIP: Blue is enhanced with increased application thickness.
