Description
Ready-mixed white stoneware casting slip from Laguna, supplied in a plastic bag packed in a box for convenient parcel shipping. Suitable for ceramic slip casting in plaster molds and for producing smooth and durable stoneware pieces. This casting slip can be shipped as a package.

2.5 gallons per package = approx. 7.5 litres.

Firing temperature: up to cone 6 (1240 °C)
Oxidation: White

If needed, KC-SS (Sodium Silicate) deflocculant can be used if the casting slip feels too thick. Can be combined with stoneware throwing clay KC-WC609.
Tip:
Stir the casting slip thoroughly for several minutes to make it thinner. If it is still too thick, Sodium Silicate can be added drop by drop. Adding too much Sodium Silicate will cause the casting slip to thicken and it cannot be thinned again.
