Dipping glaze for stoneware. Fires between 1210 °C and 1280 °C (cone 5 to 10). Different results at different temperatures. The bag contains powder that should be mixed with water according to the instructions. The bag contains 4,5 kg of powder and yields approximately 4,5 liters of finished glaze.

Information
This glaze has been given a new formula due to a shortage of raw materials and may look different than before when dried on the piece. The firing result may be slightly more light beige, but the color development also depends on the kiln, temperature, application thickness, and clay..
When applying Stoneware Dry Crystal glazes, use a cup or ladle to pour the glaze over your piece. While the glaze is wet, you may use a fan brush to evenly distribute the crystals; avoid heavy crystal loading on the bottom.
When crystal glazes have been standing for a while, a hard cake of particles may form at the bottom. This can be dissolved with Epsom salt. See instructions under documents.
Cone 6 oxidation (1230°C): Winter Wood is a matte white glaze that contains a variety of brown crystals that melt.
Cone 10 reduction (1280°C): Color changes to a translucent golden brown.

TIP: SW-106 Alabaster is the base glaze. For a lighter crystal effect, you may try applying two coats of SW-106 Alabaster with a third coat of SW-155 Winter Wood.
Safety
Can be irritating, harmful to health, and environmentally hazardous.
