Description
Mayco stoneware glazes are best applied with a soft fan brush to bisque-fired ware. Fire to between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Many colors also perform very well at higher temperatures, see images under the Information tab. Test before applying to product. Ready-mixed. 473 ml.
Information
Cone 6 oxidation (1230°C): Amaryllis is a glossy, transparent coral glaze with crystals of varying sizes that bloom in shades of brown, yellow and orange.
Cone 10 reduction (1280°C): The glaze fades to a transparent pink color. The crystals become softer. The glaze remains stable.
