Description
Mayco stoneware glazes are best applied with a soft fan brush to bisque-fired ware. Fire to between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Many colors also perform very well at higher temperatures, see images under the Information tab. Test before applying to product. Ready-mixed.
Information
Cone 6 oxidation (1230°C): Birch is a creamy opaque off-white glaze that breaks brown.
Cone 10 reduction (1280°C): Cream color remains and brown undertones darken.

TIP: The thinner the the application, the more amber the glaze will be. The thicker the application, the more white floating you will get.
