Description

The Potter's Choice glaze series from Amaco was designed with the potter in mind! These stunning glazes add fluid colors and effects to smooth or textured ware, with optimal results at Cone 5/6 (1207°C - 1243°C). They are applied in 2 - 4  layers on stoneware bisque. To use these glazes is to step into different ceramic glaze traditions of many cultures throughout history. Honey Flux is a creamy color that increases flow when layered over glazes. Opaque honey and cream at Cone 5 that shifts to a beautiful fluid white with honey flecks at Cone 6.

Cone 5 = 1184°C (at 150°C/hour for the final 100°C of firing)
