Rainforest by Laguna is a stoneware glaze series based on Robin’s Egg and fired at 1220 °C (Cone 5). The glazes are applied by brush in 2–4 coats to bisque-fired stoneware. Combine different glazes and apply them in layers to create a wide range of effects. Suitable for oxidation firing (gas or electric kilns) and reduction firing (gas kilns only). Lead-free and safe for food and beverage containers when properly fired. We recommend testing on your clay with different glaze thicknesses and your own firing schedule. The examples on our website are fired on white clay at 1220 °C.
