Description
The Potter's Choice Flux Glazes from Amaco are based on the popular Honey Flux glaze. These gorgeous glazes give any object a superb look with varying colors and highlighting textures. They are applied with a soft brush in 2-4 layers and for best results, the objects are fired to cone 5/6 (1220-1235°C). At higher temperatures, the glaze becomes more mobile and can change color. The examples on the website are made on light stoneware clay at 1207°C. Flux glazes increase the movement of glazes when applied to other glazes. Also look at the endless variations if you layer different stoneware glazes from Amaco on top of each other on Amaco.com. 473 ml.
