Description
Mayco stoneware glazes are best applied with a soft fan brush to bisque-fired ware. Fire to between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Many colors also perform very well at higher temperatures, see pictures under the Information tab. Test before applying to product. Ready-mixed. 473 ml.
Information
Cone 6 oxidation (1230°C): Speckled Toad is a shimmery green with dark grey specks that bloom when fired. Glaze breaks a semi-transparant olive green.
Cone 10 reduction (1280°C): Color changes to olive green/metallic gray that breaks blue.
