White Gloss
Description
Mayco stoneware glazes are best applied with a soft fan brush in 2–4 layers on the bisque-fired ware. Fire to between cone 5 and cone 6 (1200°C - 1230°C). Many colors also perform very well at higher temperatures, see images under the Information tab. Test before applying to product. In the pictures, the glaze is also shown on white speckled clay, yellow speckled clay and brown clay. Ready-mixed. 473 ml.
Information
Cone 6 oxidation (1230°C): White Gloss is a highly-pigmented true white gloss glaze. The stable qualities of this glaze make it ideal for design work and full opaque coverage at mid-range temperatures.
Cone 10 reduction (1280°C): No change.
