Monochrome brushing glazes

Our brushing glazes are pre-mixed and are applied with a soft brush they do not need a clear glaze before firing at 1000°C.

Our glazes may develop what are known as oolites, which form as a result of a natural process involving certain raw materials in the glaze. These are small white spheres of varying sizes. If they are detected, they should be strained out (using a 60-mesh strainer) before use. The glaze is then used as usual.
