Stoneware 1200°C

Our stoneware glazes are glossy, matte, or with effects, depending on the glaze you choose. The glaze is available ready-mixed as a brushing glaze and some are available in powder form (dry) as a dipping glaze. All our glazes melt at 1200°C and you get the best results at 1200°-1220°C. When firing at higher temperatures, some glazes may change color. Color and effects vary depending on the applied thickness, firing temperature, holding time and the clay. The color samples shown on the website are fired at 1220°C on white stoneware clay.
